Vision

Master’s Program in Statistics is envisioned to develop research- in Statistics and related fields to generate credible (capable and flexible) alumni with Islamic perspective

Mission

1. To provide nationally standardized education with a global outlook to enable students to play a role as a statistician at the national and global levels.
2. To perform widely recognized research in focused areas of statistical theory, application, methodology, and education.
3. To explore applications of statistics and engage in collaborative research in an interdisciplinary environment.
4. To provide professional services based on our diverse statistical expertise to the scientific, technical, and educational community.
5. To integrate Islamic values in educational, research and community service activities.

Vision

Master’ Program in Statistics aspires to become excellence in data analytic and the development of statistical knowledge in order to advance science and technology (IPTEK) through teaching, multidisciplinary research, community service, and da’wa in order to create the credible graduates who are competent, flexible, innovative, and have excellence in Islamic principles.

Mission

1. Organizing education according to national standards with a global and innovative orientation, such that graduates can play a role at the national and global levels
2. Exploring the applications of statistics, conducting interdisciplinary collaborative research, and utilizing research findings to support the development of statistical knowledge.
3. Building statistics literacy among the local, regional, national, and international communities through community service activities.
